The Bollywood movie, starring Akshay Kumar and Sonakshi Sinha, is a remake of Vijay "Thuppakki."
The action thriller is directed by A.R.Murugadoss and produced by Akshaya home banner and Reliance Entertainment.
The movie story is about an army officer who tracks down a terrorist group and deactivates the sleeper cells while on a Holiday in Mumbai.
The original version in Tamil star Vijay – "Thuppakki"- was a big hit at the box office. It remains to be seen if the Hindi version will be able to impress the audience and strike gold at the box office.
"Holiday" is gearing up for a big release worldwide on 6 June and the movie's hero Akshay Kumar will be having his biggest ever release in Chennai. According to entertainment industry tracker Sreedhar Pillai, "Holiday" will be hitting 22 screens in the city and its suburbs.
