Lingusamy is producing and directing a film titled as “Anjaan” which has Surya in the lead role. Samantha is pairing with Surya in “Anjaan”. Yuvan Shankar Raja is composing the music. Santosh Sivan is in charge of cinematography. The first schedule shooting of the film commenced in Mumbai and later on the shooting of the film was held in various places.Surya is donning dual roles in the film which is being produced in Tamil and Telugu. It has been decided to release the film on 15th August. Because of this the crew is working very vigorously. It has been planned to release the trailer of “Anjaan” on 12th of this month.

Ajith fans had back to back blockbuster releases in just 72 days that includes Vishnuvardhan's Arrambam and Vijay's Kaththi. Gautham Menon is now directing Ajith Kumar's next film that is tentatively titled as 'Thala 55' produced by AM Rathnam.The producer had initially decided to release the film somewhere in 2015. But since there would be more gaps between the release and disappointment for Ajith fans, they have now changed their plans. Yes, the film will be hitting screens in November or December.
