Anushka and Trisha are equal role in Ajith 55 . Trisha and Anushka to have equal importance in Ajith 55.  Ajith, Anushka, Trisha Trisha has just confirmed her inclusion in Ajith's 55th film that is being directed by Gautham Menon. Lat evenin, she has tweeted "Back with my favourite people" indirectly referring to Ajith and Gautham the people, she has worked in her earlier films.

While it was being speculated that Trisha will play second fiddle to the film's lead heroine Anushka, sources close to the director reveal that the role of Trisha in the film is as important as Anushka's. Sources also add that the film has a double heroine subject and Gautham considered Trisha as the apt choice for one of the roles while writing the script itself. The 'Ajith 55′ team is currently shooting in the KL airport in Malaysia. Trisha is expected to begin shooting for the film in the next schedule that is likely to happen in Chennai. It is to be noted that this is the fourth film for Trisha with Ajith after 'Ji', 'Kireedom' and 'Mankatha' and her second with Gautham after 'Vinnai Thandi Varuvaya' in which she played the lead role of 'Jessie', one of the best remembered female characters of the recent years
