If you are going by the early reports from the traders, the first day collections is simply rocking at Box Office. Indeed, it has given a big relief for the makers of the film. The movie bosses and Rajinikanth fans were waiting to hear the reviews with bated breath. They were tensed because of negative pre-talks from a section of media and audience. Kochadaiiyaan did not enjoy the publicity that a usual Rajinikanth film gets from public. So, this had become a worrying factor for them. But, going by the response from international audience and the early reports from Tamil Nadu cine-goers, Kochadaiiyaan has won their hearts. Rajini Kochadaiyaan Movie Review
Cast: Rajinikanth, Deepika Padukone, Shobana, Nasser, Jackie Shroff, Sarathkumar
Director: Soundarya Rajnikanth
Rajinikanth in this movie plays the role of ‘King Kochadaiyaan Randheer Akka Rana’.
Story line: The story of the movie revolves around King Rana wanting to take the revenge of his father’s death by killing the king of ‘Kotiyapatnam’ who with help of King Rana’s father close aide (a role played by Jackie Shroff) murders him in the film.
The love of warrior Rana is princess Vadhna (a role played by Deepika Padukone)
Review: ‘Kochadaiyaan’ more or less is akin normal Rajinikanth’s palate that is full of emotions, revenge, spiced up with loads of action with a ting of love. All in all, the movie showcases Rajinikanth’s character larger than life.
What is different in the film is the technique used in the movie, which is absolutely new and interesting.
Moreover, it’s a Rajinikanth starer, which in itself makes the movie a must watch.
Soundarya knowing her father well has done a fine job as the way she has used the technology to weave a character out of her father’s persona is commendable and very well balanced.
