Vijay Sethupathi about acting with Gayathri continuously

Why I am acting with Gayathri continuously? Vijay Sethupathi

Vijay Sethupathi who paired with Gayathri in Naduvula Konjam Pakkatha Kaanom joined hands with her once again in Rummy. Now both of them are once again pairing in the film titled Mellisai.

Director Ranjith Jayakodi while speaking about this film said, "The characters in this film are connected with music. Hence I have titled this film as Mellisai. C S Sam is composing the music while Dinesh Krishnan is handling the camera. Vijay Sethupathi who casually listened to this story agreed to act in it. Deepan Boopathy and Ratesh Velu are producing this film."When asked Vijay Sethupathi about acting with Gayathri continuously, he said, "I don’t see that whether my film has action or duets. I only see whether the film has a different story. I don’t interfere in heroine matters.Because of my call sheet problems, I refer the offers that come to me to other actors but I have never demanded that so and so should be the heroine of my film. Gayathri has been casted as my heroine because there is a good reception. Hence it is not new thing in Kollywood for directors to cast a hero and heroine who are commercially viable."
