Rajini Lingaa latest news

There were reports that Rajinikanth Lingaa would clash with Vijay Kaththi as both the movies were heading for Diwali release.

But now, it appears like there would not be any competition between the two movies as the superstar movie is heading towards a solo release on Rajini birthday.

Lingaa was kick-started in May and KS Ravikumar had earlier set the Diwali deadline for its release. But we hear that the film did not progress as he planned before. So, the makers of the movie have now decided to release the flick on December 12 for Rajinkanth birthday.

By doing it, Lingaa has now avoided the Diwali clash and it is most likely to have a solo release on December 12. Currently, the film unit is busy filming key portions in Ramoji Film City, Hyderabad. It is the second schedule of the movie after completing its first schedule in Karnataka.

Lingaa, which is named after Rajinikanth grandson, has Sonakshi Sinha and Anushka Shetty in the female lead role. It is directed by KS Ravikumar and produced by Rockline Venkatesh. Oscar Award winner AR Rahman has composed the music and Rathavelu has handled the camera.

Anjaan Actor Suriya's highly anticipated film 'Anjaan' direcfted by N.Lingusamy will be wrapped up today.

The film is being produced by Lingusamy's Thirrupathi Brothers and UTV Motion pictures. G.Dhananjayan, the South Head of UTV has tweeted, "Last day shooting of Anjaan today at Vasai fort, near Mumbai. With this the film is getting wrapped up & gearing up for release on 15th Aug".

Anjaan stars Samantha as the female lead and Suriya is playing double roles.

Many Mumbai based actors including Bollywood actor Manoj Bajpai are included in the star cast of this action thriller.

Music album scored by Yuvan Shankar Raja is expected to hit the audio market in July. With shoot of 'Anjaan' getting over, Suriya is expected to start work on his next film with director Venkat Prabhu, which will be the versatile actor's production venture.

Enthiran was a super duper hit which had superstar Rajinikanth in the lead role. This film was directed by Shankar. Now we hear from reliable source that Reliance is gearing up to produce the part 2 of this film.

In the year 2010, Rajinikanth donned the lead role in the film Enthiran which was produced by Sun Pictures. This film yielded great profits at the box office. The film which was appreciated by critics and audience had Aishwarya Rai in the female lead role. A R Rahman had composed the music.

In the Tamil film industry, Enthiran was supposed to be best science fiction. This film won the National Award for the best graphics. Graphic experts throughout the world appreciated the techniques and climax sequences. Director Shankar has shown in the end of the film as if Chitti Robot is still active.

Now and then, there were talks that the second part of the film might be produced but there was no official confirmation regarding this. AGS Entertainments had planned to produce the part 2 of Enthiran but the idea was dropped because of budget problems. Now at this point of time, Reliance has come forward to produce the part 2 of Enthiran. It is expected that the shooting of Enthiran 2 will commence once Rajinikanth completes Lingaa and Shankar completes Ai.
